    Religion is believed that hold by a group of people to their god. Religion is one of the factor that influence the development of English Language. It is because before the language used by community the language used in the church and to write the bible. First, in Greek era when the main language is Latin, they influence English by influence the religion by write the bible used Latin. And after that in a French era they write bible in French and also use French in the church. The language had developed together with the religion in English so that the language will use in the community as well. Well, when the language first exists in the community in supposed to that language has existed in the religious activity. Like in the pray and also in the writing in the bible they use English, the main English before it used in the society. Because the one that influence the English language first attack the church and the religious activity to develop their language and then the language used in the English community. But after the colonialism they (English) develops their own language by borrowing some vocabulary that used in the bible and the society. The language that they use in the bible was never known by the community before the king/queen apply it in the society because of the bible is just for the king/queen and the duke that live in the era that language used. It is because of only the king/queen and also duke that can read and can speak in the language that used in the religious activity. The religious activity is like the pray, and religion ceremony.

    There is also the vocabulary about religion that appear in the society develop the language that English people use. The vocabularies that say the characteristic of god and also the compliment to god appeared in the society. For example, the word “grand”, “the one”, are the vocabulary about god characteristic in English. And also the word “thanks god”, is one of the word that use to compliment the god. God is the main part in the religion. It is because of the religion is the believed in god. Therefore, the vocabulary about god is one of the factors that influence English by religion. The vocabulary about god used in the bible and the church before it exists in the community and used in the community. It is related to the first paragraphs that say that the vocabulary that used in the church and in the bible just for king/queen and the duke. Furthermore just they can read it and speak in that language. And after they (the king/queen and the duke) know the language and the colonialism disappear they used it and apply it in the society so they can use it as their daily language and become their nation language.

    It is behave in all layers of society and all of period in the English language. This is behaving in the old English until modern English.
